Why All-on-4?
All-on-4 replaces a full arch of teeth using only four implants. The two back implants are tilted so they anchor in the dense bone at the front of the jaw — which is why most patients with moderate bone loss can be treated without grafting.
The permanent zirconia bridge is fitted only after 3–4 months of osseointegration, so the implants are fully fused before they carry chewing load.
The All-on-4 Process
The 3–4 month healing period is essential. Loading four implants with a permanent bridge too early risks micromovement, bone loss and early failure, so the final bridge is delivered only once healing is confirmed.
3D Scan & Planning
Cone-beam CT imaging maps your bone volume, nerve position and sinus anatomy so the four implants can be placed where your bone is strongest
Implant Surgery
Four titanium implants are placed — the two posterior ones tilted up to 45° to engage dense anterior bone and bypass the sinus or nerve
Healing & Osseointegration
Over 3–4 months living bone grows onto the implant threads. This biological bond is what allows four implants to safely carry a full arch
Final Zirconia Bridge
Once healing is confirmed clinically and radiographically, your permanent full-arch zirconia bridge is designed and fitted

Six implants distribute bite forces more widely and are often recommended for the upper jaw or for patients with a heavy bite.

Am I a candidate for All-on-4?
If you are missing most or all of the teeth in an arch and have adequate bone at the front of the jaw, All-on-4 is usually possible. Your CT scan confirms it.
Why do I have to wait 3–4 months for the final bridge?
This period is osseointegration — your jawbone grows onto and bonds with the titanium surface. With only four implants carrying the arch, that bond is what makes the result stable long term.
Will I be without teeth while healing?
No. A lighter provisional restoration lets you speak, smile and eat soft foods while the implants heal underneath, without overloading them.
Do I need bone grafting?
Usually not. Tilting the posterior implants maximizes contact with existing bone and frequently avoids grafting altogether.
How much does All-on-4 cost compared to Canada or the US?
Treatment in Istanbul typically costs 50–70% less than the same procedure in Canada, the US or the UK, using the same Straumann and Nobel Biocare systems.
